Our scheduling team is available to book and confirm your consultation, either in person or via telemedicine.
This is the moment when we and our patients align expectations and proposed outcomes for the procedure. We evaluate the patient's overall health, characteristics such as chest shape, breast volume, skin quality and quantity, and contraindications for implant placement.
The patient's financial planning is as important as the recovery time planning and post-operative support network. There may be extra costs for additional dressings, scar treatment, and complementary surgical procedures, so: Plan ahead!
At this point, our patient, equipped with her requested pre-operative exams, has her health evaluation completed and the surgery is authorized. Clarifying doubts is crucial at this stage.
The big day has arrived. Our reception team will welcome you and guide you through the best process for admission and accommodation in your room. At this time, the area to be operated on will be marked and the final pre-surgery photos will be taken. After surgery, the patient should remain in the hospital for 12 hours and may be discharged on the same day.
Post-operative care for breast augmentation involves the use of pain control medications and antibiotics. At this stage, you will have received guidance on diet, thrombosis/pulmonary embolism prevention, and general care.
Follow-ups take place in the consultation offices on pre-scheduled dates. This stage is crucial for monitoring the shape, controlling edema, bruises, and scars.
For all patients who have undergone breast augmentation with implants, it is important to maintain annual or biennial breast and implant evaluations, preferably with breast MRI. Follow-up takes place in the office for a period of 6 to 12 months.
