Gynecomastia is the presence of enlarged breasts in the chest area of male patients, with or without an enlarged mammary gland. When the breast composition is predominantly fatty, pseudo-gynecomastia occurs.

2Medical Consultation and Treatment Choice
This is the moment when we align expectations and proposed outcomes for the procedure. The overall health of the patient is assessed, along with characteristics such as the presence of fat or gland in the complaint areas, skin flaccidity, and hematimetric evaluation (blood characteristics). This stage can be conducted via telemedicine for patients residing out of state or abroad.
3Budgeting
Financial planning is as important as planning the recovery time and support network for the postoperative period. There may be expenses for extra dressings, scar treatment, and complementary surgical procedures, so plan accordingly.
4Preoperative Return
At this stage, the patient, armed with the requested preoperative tests, undergoes a complete health assessment, and the surgery is authorized. Clarifying doubts is fundamental at this stage.
5Surgery Execution
The big day has arrived. Our reception team will receive and direct you for hospitalization and accommodation in your room. The area to be operated on will be marked, and the final photos will be taken before the procedure. After the surgery, the patient must stay in the hospital for at least 12 hours.
6Post-operative Period
During this period, medications for pain control and antibiotics are used. You will have received instructions on diet, prevention of thrombosis/pulmonary thromboembolism, and general skin care.
7Post-operative Return
Follow-up appointments are scheduled in the clinics to monitor skin, control edema, bruises, and scars.
8Medical Discharge
For all patients who undergo gynecomastia treatments, discharge occurs after 2 months of treatment, with a 6-month follow-up for scars and the use of sunscreen.
